"MCEMediaManager program has stopped responding"

Mar 14, 2010 at 2:31 AM

I reinstalled Media Manager and couldn't find the link to it in Media Center. Eventually found "Fundamental Application" icon in the Extras Library. Clicking it produces the error:

PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING: The MCEMediaManager program has stopped responding and you will be returned to Windows Media Center".

I'm running Windows 7. It was working before. I installed Media Manager on two other Windows 7 computers and I get the same error message. Something is seriously wrong here...

On all 3 computers, the C:\Program Files (x86)\MCEMediaManager\ directory has only two files in it...a .png logo and an xml file. I don't expect that's how it's supposed to be.

Any ideas how I can get this working?

Not sure what is going on there.  I see you have x64.  I think the application has issues with x64 machines.  I will take a look and see what I can find.  Thanks for the heads up.

Experiencing the same issue on Win7 x86 (not x64)

Too bad, cause this is a brilliant idea! Thanks!
